ABOUT SFL
​​​The South Florida Chapter (SFL) of the American Society for Public Administration’s mission is to enhance public administration, promote the profession and preserve the public trust by providing expertise, direction, and leadership for all its members and other stakeholders. The SFL strives to:

Facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experiences among persons interested or engaged in the field of public administration

Encourage the collection, compilation, and dissemination of information on matters relating to public administration

Promote the interaction of students of public administration with public administration practitioners in all feasible ways

Encourage the active involvement of students and members of minority groups in Chapter activities

ABOUT FIU
Whether their interest is in politics and public policy or human rights and democratization, students at the Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs are committed to creating a better world. We equip them with the knowledge, experience and tools to do just that.

Through an innovative approach that integrates theory with practice and combines the social sciences with the humanities, the Green School is preparing the global leaders and changemakers of tomorrow.

​The Green School is home to eight departments and 18 of the university’s most prominent international centers, institutes and programs, including the Kimberly Green Latin American and Caribbean Center, recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as one of only 16 National Resource Centers on Latin American in the country, and the Cuban Research Institute, the nation’s premier center for academic research on Cuban and Cuban-American issues.​​​​
